The Best Car to buy

Postby Havana » Fri Sep 11, 2009 2:19 am

MY boss is currently looking for a car, she's possibly going to get a Japanese one, more for exploring than for anything else. It's just for her and her husband for occasional jaunts to the coast, getting across town, etc. Is there a suitable model that you would recommend??

Coastal routes can be very twisty at times and a vehicle with suitable suspension and good brakes makes driving these routes much more comfortable than some loftier vehicles. The twisty roads, coupled with height restrictions on many underground parking facilities in the city, should again make one think twice before looking into something perhaps too tall to fit into these restricted areas. In short you boss might want to look away from vans and SUVs, and perhaps consider many of the Japanese brand saloons that are available, or indeed some smaller hatches. Take a look at our Taiwan's Top Cars article for some ideal solutions, and take a glimpse at some other articles. You may also wish to take a look at typical running costs (see "Articles") and purchase costs (see: http://ocar.com.tw for some comparative sales prices).
